Dublin.ie Logo Redesign
Logo for a website about Dublin. I decided to go for a simple bespoke look using a well known Dublin landmark. It is a simple monochrome logo.

Logo Redesign
The brief was to design a logo for a website about Dublin. It had to convey an iconic Dublin sight of landmark.
I began by compiling a moodboard. I used the photo below as a basis for my logo. I felt that it was an iconic image of Dublin and the Poolbeg chimneys are something that most people see when arriving in Dublin.
I wanted the logo to have a stylish bespoke look. To achieve this I decided to take the outline of the chimneys and use a hand drawn brush effect to make it look similar to a signature.
I think that the redesigned logo helps to give the site a unique, modern and stylish look while still retaining a classic Dublin handcrafted feel
